WD3 looks weak

What's wrong with this ? The more money people make, the weaker the product becomes. Summer Madness 2 has big event after big event, and KOTD want people to pay alot of money to watch this shit. 11 match ups so far, and they all look like cost saving events.

u can say it LOOKS weak, but you'll have to wait until the bars are put out before any judgement can be made. I hope there are still some BIG, top tier battles to be locked up. I would like to see marvone back in kotd, knamelis v emotionz, and arcane have a non-canadian top tier opponent. And I wonder if any people are coming from abroad for the third day, GZ event.

I'll use this reply to address the above comments as they're of pretty mujch the same view. It may not be cheap to fly people out to WD, but they've always been flown out so i'd assume it came from product sales, advertisments and such like. However, KOTD is now at a stage where Ustream is being used as a source to bring it alot more money. People who buy ppv seem to be under the impression that they're supporting some sort of movement. I was under the impression that the battles would be a good bit better than what has been announced so far. After recent Ustream events i thought they would have money to push the boat out a bit. URL haven't ventured into ustream before, and if they do their first event will be a blockbuster before a dollar is made from streaming. KOTD have already made money from streaming and in my opinion the match ups so far aren't up to much. I'm not making this post to cause a bit of muck kicking or anything of the sort, just airing my opinion.

i think people are worried about wd3 a little prematurely. i agree with finalround in that i was kinda hoping kotd was going to bring in somoeone like solomon or going against my own reason someone like soul khan but lets not forget some of the best matchups from wd2 werent the most pretty to look at on paper but think about rone v nils m skils, dlor v def, dizaster v smp, henry bowers v cheddah cheese, 24/7 v dose. all of these matchups didnt really have huge build ups but ended up being amazing battles

Some battles i wasnt excited hearing about, but sometimes those tend to be the best battles. Really lookin forward to Osa vs Sonny Bamboo and Loe Pesci vs Bender.

Okay at first when I saw SM2, ofcourse I was shellshocked and can't help the comparisons with wd3 with the events happenin so near, those where the gods coming back, Loaded Lux, Iron Solomon, Murda Mook. But understand bro, its different man, aside from Iron vs Mook kotd's event is the melting pot being Filipino myself I would see my local cats go up against that kind of competition that is almost deemed unimaginable (protoge vs mfkn rone). Its different but would both be influential in astronomical proportions to the battle rap community (cause it makes it as almost as a whole with those countries represented), Kotd just had motherfuckin' Vendetta, that was big and to follow it up like this. It might not have all the big names but its a 3 day world-battle rap showcase, 6 countries would be faithfully tuning it. And yeah aside from all those i've said and already aforementioned, Sm2 would have what? 6 battles, all main events caliber (more so, once in a lifetime i give you that) but Kotd all not that left out, what wd3 would have 20-30 battles and yeah ever imagined seeing Head Ice (that's a legend too man, that guy brought up Tsu Surf and Loaded Lux to the battlin' scene) against a Pat Stay. Too faded right now to properly address my opinions but wtf smfh, WD3's goin to be bomb.
