I'm not going to lie...that shit was straight awkward. But....WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT? JUST because he's Canibus doesn't automatically make him a written battle rap vet. It's not like Dizaster has never choked....one of the worst ever...against Locksmith with MORE experience, a whole lot less pressure, and the rounds were a whole lot shorter. Shit happens. I think this trolling has gone way out of proportion and to be honest I don't think it's a good look for the league to completely humiliate him in the hopes of getting other big names. The way he's getting trolled and humiliated...no big named rapper in their right mind would ever risk it. With that said....Diz's first 2 rounds were bomb. His 3rd wasn't as good...as always....because he depends on frees and personality too much.


For ME, the biggest let down was Illmaculate. That was like an F- version of Ill. It was sad and it's going to hurt his reputation in a lot of people's eyes. That's his 3rd lose to a URL dude. For whatever reason it didn't look like he was motivated WHICH IS CRAZY because an Arsonal killing would have been HUGE for him. ILLMACULATE AT HIS BEST is STILL one of the best in the world...but the fact he's capable of no showing like that is sad. That was the worst performance I think I've ever seen of him. Then again this is all from memory.

DNA vs Eurgh was probably the battle of the night. I liked K Shine vs Pass. Flo was dissappointing but Lavos had one of his best performances ever. TheSaurus vs Cruger was alright too but I thought it was going to be even better. This is all from memory. I'll have to give em another look.

I agree, Illmac was terrible! I don't know what he was on. I also thought DNA Vs Eurgh was the best battle of the night. Pass Vs Shine was ok, kind of short and Bender went the fuck off. I didn't see the other battles, will check them soon but after that Canibus "dizaster" (pin intended) I barely was motivated to watch anything else.
And yeah Diz choked and Loe Pesci had one of the worst chokes n battle rap but Diz ain't pull out no notepad tho lol. Loe came close with his Blackberry lol, that was a very awkward moment as well. But yeah, Bis was buggin man, then had the nerve 2 throw some more Slaughterhouse dissin in his raps. He dude get props tho. For not getting butthurt and acting all arrogant. He respected Diz, no talkin during Diz rounds, no bitter shit, no "I'm a real rapper so I look down on you" type of shit. He had all that right, he just wasn't ready for this format.

This wasn't about who is the better emcee. This was a battle, at a battle event, held by one of the biggest leagues in the world, with millions and millions watching, and he pulled out a NOTEPAD!!! He couldn't even cleanly spit one round! I don't mean to sound like a ignorant battle fan, but that's unheard of. A legendary rapper crossing cultures and doesn't even become close to looking prepared. Having said all that I am glad I copped the ppv. History was made, just not the kind I thought we would see.

Arsonal and Illmac were meant to battle about three times before this, and Arsonal allegedly backed out or caused it to not happen, repeatedly. I don't blame Illmac for not giving a fuck. I met him at Set the Standard and spoke to him in-depth. He didn't seem to thrilled or excited for it, but he said he was ready. Because he's a professional.

However, when Arsonal tries/threatens to bail out AGAIN, you've got to believe Illmac was fucking tired of his shit. I don't blame Illmac for not trying. Arsonal was wack, Illmac was way worse than he's capable of being, but that double helix line was the best of the night. If you don't get it, step your mental game up.

I still think Illmac took him, because Arsonal was typical U.R.L. shit. Dolarz had a far superior performance to Arsonal.

So, that's why Illmac likely didn't give a fuck. It doesn't change MY opinion of him, because I likely would've been the same.
