  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*

I hear ya, but I disagree - especially with this battle. I was conscious of that writing my first and 2nd rounds.

When I turn to the crowd in my first I upped the voice/projection and my 2nd round closer was louder also.

I do feel slept on, but Fingaz himself raised a good point. It's not so much that I was being slept on, but he was being overhyped too. So you can hear a distinct difference in crowd reaction to punches. But it's the different side of the same coin in the end.

I used to think it was due to my delivery/abstract approach to battles (example vs PH), so I cut back on the "rappity rap" for this and tried to "up" the performance. I don't know if it's the crowd, me or what. But in every division that I've battled in, it's gone down like this - so I guess it is me.

I will tell you, it's an extremely shitty feeling when I'm writing and I get that "click" of a REALLY dope line. Only to drop said line, and hear fucking crickets. And hear the opponents drop lines that get wild reactions.

This is turning into a bitch-fest, I'll stop here

I think it's more so your look than anything, that's the only answer I can come up with. For this particular battle the fact that they were hyping Fingaz so much made it seem even worse than it was, but like you said the same thing happens basically in every battle. Recently aside from Blackout KOTD has had wack crowd reactions though, even Arcane spoke on it.

Fingaz had some good shit, but I gave that one to Shock. Fingaz took the 3rd, that Kobe line was fucking crazy, but aside from that Shocks edged him in the 1st and the 2nd.

I think that's why a lot of the bars guys have bailed out, partially.

I know 24 said it was the music, and it clearly is, but he was obviously so tired of getting slept on. I think Fresco felt the same after him and Real Deal got jerked over here.

I think Fresco quit b/c people were taking the easiest angles against him (gay jokes). Kinda sucks really, cuz I think dude is so fucking talented. I would have loved to test my pen game vs his.

I said it on the youtube comments, so I may as well say it here too: Shocks dominated this battle. He had the clean vocal tone, nice bars, solid word play, etc., Fingaz lacks conviction. I've seen Fingaz battle a few times now, and if the crowd was sleeping on him, like they did on Shocks, Fingaz would have choked. If the crowd doesn't get behind him, he stammers, and falls apart. that said, his bitch is mean.

Overall i really liked this battles, but the outcome was a farce. The people don't lie.

And much props to Shocks for not using cheap angles.

There was a line in the second by fingaz (I just watched the battle again), where he rhymes "fine w/ mine" and the crowd goes fucking nuts. smh. Step your fan game up calgary.
