The next battle released from Blackout 2 features another Fresh Coast Vet from Oakland, Passwurdz. He is facing Scarborough native Skelly. Skelly has had 2 great battles back to back with PH and Arcane, while Pass hasn't battled since GrizzleMania 2. Both emcee's are hungry to show they are superior, who will accomplish that?

Skelly went the fuck OFF
Passwurdz had a really good, articulate showing in the first, but Skelly just out-rapped him in every way. He had the punchlines, the cadence, everything.
Pass's double time in the 2nd was mad. The rest just wasn't hitting. Skelly's was, once again, just better in every aspect to me. I thought the same when I watched it, but I think I was too excited for the rest to truly realise how sick he was.
Skelly's 3rd was fucking raw. He already had it 2 - 0 at that point, but then he just smashed it.
Pass really nailed down the second with hard bars, The Precious line, the ankle bracelet shit...both were good. Skelly just out-did him.

Fuck promos, though. Honestly, a battle like that and no win for Skelly is fucking awful. He's coming off two losses, or is it three? He starts going bars out, bodies his opponent in three and doesn't get the win?

Skelly all 3 rounds in my opinion. I like pass, but it seemed he wasnt on point. He was ruthless on Skelly's girl though. I've seen Skelly's wife in past battles, she looks like she would tear a mofo up. Pass did look nervous or uncomfortable even spittin those bars about her.....

Another great battle.
Pass gave a better performance than against Swain, but he's one of those Fresh Coast guys who just can't seem to to get too comfortable outside of the West Coast scene. He's been one of my favorite dudes doing this, but Philly and this battle don't compare to his Daylyt and Hollow battles. It's like a totally different cat spitting bars.
Skelly got the first round clearly. Great bars, good delivery as always and his shit was on point for the battle.
I think Pass got the second. His shit was pretty crazy. Skelly had a lot of filler and his round wasn't really focused.
Skelly edged the third. Pass just didn't have enough. That "login, no password" line was INSANE.
Skelly always seems to have a really great first round, especially in the PH and Arcane battles, and then just sorta drifts off, loses focus, has a lot of filler and ends up getting really out shined. When his second was a little lacking, I was worried this was gonna be the case, but he brought it back in the 3rd. Plus Pass didn't seem to be trying too hard in the first and second rounds.
Skelly 2-1 after one watch through. I think the battle has some solid replay value, though. I'll peep it again later today and see if I feel the same. It really sucks that Skelly finally earns a win and he doesn't get the W.
