Dizaster vs Canibus Predictions/Fresh Coast KOTD division

Huge news. Pretty obvious topic. How do you think Cannabis and Dizaster will match up? What do you think of KOTD expanding to America? Especially the fresh coast? How big is this for KOTD?

Why do people insist on calling him Cannabis? It's Canibus. Also, shouldn't this be in the Battles section.

My only concern is that fewer people will bother coming to Canada. Of course, the plus is that now we can get King of the Dot MCs in the States, and it opens up potential for Hollow da Don Vs someone.

Regarding the battle:

I'm predicting Dizaster taking a REASONABLY comfortable win. If Canibus understands what BATTLING is, and filters his skill into actual punches? Dizaster is done. I don't see that happening. I see Canibus trying to impress everyone, everyone not caring or not getting it, and Diz overpowering him.

Diz needs to write his rounds out, though. Canibus will probably do well if the time limits are long. The man has a song called 10,000 Bars coming out."

He has an album called 'Rip The Jacker II: Infinity' (It will be 10,000 Bars). It's due March. If Diz doesn't choke, he'll do fine. My vote is quite obvious. KOTD has made an idea become reality, and I'm thankful for that.

Dizaster should win this, fairly easily. Canibus has a lot of ammo against him and if Canibus doesn't pay attention to battling he has a lot less for Dizaster.

My main interest lies with Canibus' pacing. I know dude can rap, but in acapellaland the emphasis seems more on knowing how to pace a performance (letting rhymes settle...etc). Just pulling from the Madchild interview, him saying "i figured it out halfway through the battle" (something to that extent) and he's been putting out music since 96'.

I think Diz will get him with personals. Canibus is dope as hell but with his random dissings, and they way his career has been going, everyone should already know Diz will have loads to say about that. Like a poster above me said, if canibus hasnt been watching the battle leagues he wont really have shit to say. I do expect canibus to have some dope verses but as far as the battle i think Diz will take it.

With KOTD coming to america i think its dope. been watching Grindtime/KOTD since 2009 and the dopest Grindtime vids were from the Fresh coast. Never was a fan of lush one but the dude had him a good little league. Hoping a lot more canadian vs american battles happen and a lot of the west coast cats come back. already know okwerdz is trying to get back into things.

Wow this battle will be just amazing. When you put one of the best lyricist of all time against one of the most entertaining battle rapper it's going to be a massacre. I think nobody it's on Canibus level, he has the upper hand. No matter the outcome will be, hip hop wins.
