after watching this battle for a 3rd time i change my cortez vote to a vote for hollohan 2-1 the case could even be made 3-0 because cortez 3rd round was all filler after the burce b stuff

Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't Cortez's third more an emphasis towards Hollohan being a shit friend? Any flaws one may see in Bruce, according to Cortez are directly attributed to Hollohan making the approach less Bruce B centric as its being made out to be. So for me, he simulatenously presented and avoided a taboo subject which is pretty wild.

Probably the best i've seen of Hollohan. His breath control, pacing, whatever you wanna call it seemed off, but it gets masked behind the intensity.

After watching it three times, I think it's 3-0 Hollohan. It's easily the best performance I've seen from either of them -- absolutely classic battle. All three rounds were close -- I think the first round was the clearest win for Hollohan. I think the second round was Cortez's best but Hollohan's opening rebuttal there was just bananas. The third round was close but Hollohan's closer was sick whereas Cortez's felt really awkward, like there were some bars missing or something.

I gave it 2-1 Cortez, like most people haha.

As far as personals...A personal just needs to be believable. To do that you need to say it with conviction, which Cortez did, and for the story to be plausible. Now what were his angles? Round 1, Hollohan has an STD, fucked some girl raw giving it to her, and getting arrested because of it. Now the first half, definitely possibly. Hollohan's image is to be a fucking basehead, who COULDN'T see him banging some dirty broad and catching something. As to the second half, as far as I know giving someone an STD isn't a crime haha.

Round 2. Hollohan is a racist. Hollohan said "I got a white daddy and a spic mother, this is my fucking natural skin color", need I say more?

Round 3, the big one. Bruce B died of an overdose which Hollohan was an enabler too. It's noted that Bruce B and Hollohan were friends. Hollohan is a druggie, what do addicts do? Get high. Who do they get high with? Their friends. Could Bruce B have died of an overdose? Sure. If this happened, had Bruce not been an addict himself, would Hollohan have been the enabler? Yes.

Even with all of that though, 2-1 Hollohan. First two personals weren't enough and Hollohan's bars were battle all throughout the battle.

I was tired when I typed that and messed the names up. I meant to say Hollohan took that 2-1. Hollohan won the first two rounds, Cortez won the last.
