ok first off, THANK YOU kotd for doign the ppv, it was absolutely amazing.
i watched it from beginning to end, starting around 1pm, eyerate and rocky did an awesome job to keep it moving. tons of emcee interviews, and they were done very professionaly. kid twist even dropped some freestyles off the top with words thrown at him from the online ppv chatroom. it was dope, mad interactive.. and really gave people who have never been to a kotd live, a close look at how the events are ran.

with that being said, the actual battles were unreal. some of the best battles i ever seen in kotd, some new faces, some returning faces, it was big. big big names.. also not to mention an added 1 round suprise battle. lets just say it was EPIC lol..

but ima break down my views on the battles without spoilers. look for who i gave performance of the night mentions. a lot of emcees really murdered shit.

sketch vs po - starting with this.. no lie i didnt think it would hold weight as the main event after such big names and big battles went down... but actually vieweing it, it definitely held it down , both emcees came really really hard. this battle was WAYY BETTER than their first battle. cohost raekwon the chef definitely added to the vibe, classified was also there co hosting, so this main event had a lot of celebs watching, it added to the hype, it was absolutely banannas in there by the main event, such a hype vibe, both emcees flowed with it and murdered shit. I ABOSOLUTELY AGREE WITH THE DECISION, although i didnt see all rounds going to one emcee, so it was kinda close, depending on ur preference of style. but in my opinion the winning emcee is way better then he was when these two first battled. he deserved the win...

hollohan vs cortez - unreal. fucking unreal, hollohan came dressed like a gino gelled hair and tight shirt, but wow he came with bars, he didnt miss a beat. didnt know wut to expect with the long layoff but he came back to murder it. cortez is a new face to kotd, ive never seen his battles before but ive seen him in cyphers and freestyling. he is dope, brooklyn emcee, real hard, g shit he spits. i liked his style, and he really took some unique and top tier angles at hollohan. this was prolly the best battle of the night, both emcees were spitting A level material, and were both so polished with delivery. this has mad replay value, two different styles. good call making it promo woulda been judged purely based on judge style preference so it wouldnt be fair.. amazing battle

okwerdz vs real deal - this realy bored me. call me crazy. but im not an okwerdz fan, big fan of nate diaz tho and his line about diaz beating gsp made ma laugh and give him a bombom lol. other than that i only watched this for real deal and he didnt do nearly as good as he can do. example nebula , loe pesci battles... but yea good ish

pat stay vs thesaurus - yikkees. pat stay claimed it was his last battle :| he seemed serious, he was on some crazy shit again tho disrespectful as fuck. i loved his performance, a minor slip up in round 2 i believe, where as thersaurus came polished as fuck no stumbles or slips... both had bars, personals left n right, it was a good battle. a little disappointed to be honest tho it didnt go the way i personally wanted it to go, very close battle, hard to judge, but i agree with the decision

knamelis vs kid twist - wow. PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT in this.. one of em at leastt.. i wont say who, but wow. this might not be battle of the night, but top 3-4 battles of the night, and def best performance of the night or 2nd best performance of the night. absolutely murderous. ill be honest too both guys came with really good material, and no slip ups from either guy, but this wasnt even close. someone just snapped and murderfest happened.

osa vs 24 7 - Another potential PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT. this was awesome battle on both emcees behlaf, both suchhhhhhhhhh good writers, its unreal, both so unique and original. creativity.. it was a close battle... except for one round cough cough... and 24 7 also announced it was his last battle. not cool... him n pat stay both retired apparently. and fresco too. mad ill names leavin the game, i dont like it..

hfk vs madness - one of the BATTLE OF THE NIGHT candidates.. in my opinion it was so close, such a great match of styles. both funny as fuck, i totally agree with the deciision the emcee who won spits jokes like no other. id watch a rematch on this lol, for now replay this one folks, replay value hardd***

ph vs aftershock - zzZZzzZzz not a fan of these two but ill admit ph had some barssssssssssssss son. that guy can write bars i forgot the exact line but he spit one bar that killed me, i had goosebumps.. agree with the decision

passwurdz vs skelly - cant remember much of this, and what does that tell u lol. nothin special... honestly tho it was a good vibe during this battle tho, good mesh of styles, pat stay and hollohan cornered skelly. skelly held it down, he looked better in this battle than he did against arcane, he had better material. im gunna re watch this one, but for now ill say it was a close battle. i cant remember who won, but in my opinion only one emcee really had me interested... sooo yeaa. blaow

aak vs justice - possible PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT... new face involved in this battle, aak from grind time, justice returning from a long layoff, jusice mcfly outta montreal... good ass battle, compared to the other 2 free battles on the PPV, this one was by far the best battle of the 3... and one emcee absolutely murdered it, and in my opinion performance of the event or 2nd best performance of the night up there with kid twist - knamelis

fingaz vs step easy - robbery. mothafuckin robbery. that is all

mischief vs big mac - big mac took like 20 minutes to get to the ring.. scott jackson "feel free to not react to any of his bars" lololol bodied me. mischief it was good to see him back. but in my opinion he came with some horrible material, he can write a lot better battle bars then wut he had.... big mac was well... huge... this battle kinda sucked. but based on the obesiety of big mac i will rewtach it when it drops to laugh at him. i agreed with the decision as did everyone there i think...


great event, hopefully kotd will do another ppv. or hire me to judge. ill do it fo free lol

Although i can see how you thought the title match was the right decision if you disagreed with the winner of pat stay vs thesaurus. I must have been drunk as fuck when I was watching these earlier because I don't remember a decision for any of the battles. They did announce the winners in the PPV, right? I'm going to rewatch it before I even try to say who won or lost since I obviously don't remember much.

I fucked up by getting drunk and not taking it(the event) all in properly. I was getting bars and all that, i just wished i had stayed sober because i wasn't absorbing it all. I managed to catch up with a replay or two so far. Yeah it goes without saying that there were some nice battles, but you know that's gonnae be the case anyway. PS/Thesaurus was real good. I will check the prediction thread, but i suspect i was the only person on here who couldn't see Cortez losing, but i'd have to see the replay again before not saying if i was right or not because we ain't allowed to haha. It was definitely some battle, both done really well. I'm watching it now. I'll watch out for the replays.

rewatching pat stay thesaurus. i do kinda agree with decision after rewatching it, i knew he was gunna lose after a few rounds went by... no spoilers. i was jus disappointed in that emcee thats all.. and if u think step easy fingaz wasnt a robbery yikes, rewatch that son. the robbed emcee controlled the crowd and came with his A material. his winning opponent spit some weak shit compared to what he could have spit and what he has spit in the past.. like cmon

and if u actually read the full review u would see the two battles i named for potential performance of the night, n also i called hfk madness the battle of the night. and hollohan cortez

That was battle of the night for me, but Hollohan took performance. I loved that fucking battle, the buildup Cortez did with his 3rd round, Hollohan's bars, everything was perfect.

Real Deal and Okwerdz was kind of disappointing really, they weren't bad but I was just expecting something amazing from both of them.

24/7 v. Osa was dope as shit. 7's flip game is on point.

I think Kid Twist's battle was closer than a lot of people make it out to be. It seems like yall are judging solely based off of aggression, content wise it was close.
