Respect Khan's decision, people.
I personally don't understand why he feels he can't have a successful career AND battle. He claims it's because nobody has before...which is odd. True, perhaps, but odd.
I suppose the issue is that a record label might not wanna market a dude to the general public if he's saying certain things in battles that they don't wanna be associated with. That's the only thing I can think of. It's probably the same reason Real Deal has to keep battling a secret from his teaching job.

I actually think the reason he doesn't do both is just the division of energy. I could be a much better basketball player if i stopped studying, or a better student if i didn't play basketball. Negotiations of time and energy that create our comfort.
So for Khan to do both is possible. To be successful at both? Possible, but perhaps a greater investment in energy than he'd like.
