That was not a bad battle. It's one of those ones that could have went either way. SMP accepted he didn't do as well as he usually does, so maybe 3-2 was fair enough. I like SMP, he has raw energy and nice natural agression levels. Forkfarm had some nice lines and ideas. Oh yeah, i made this quick edit to say i think SMP vs Porich(the sober version) would be a good battle.
I actually like that it was released after the Dizaster battle. Despite a solid performance, SMP would've received MUCH MORE unwarranted negativity towards the WD2 match up.
SMP had this. DAX had the judging spot on.
wrong decision.
That was a weeeeeird battle...it's odd when performance (Fork) can completely mitigate the impact of bars (SMP). Plus KOTD isn't exactly where I expect to hear a grown man belting out Bon Jovi. I will say that I agree with the decision though, and all the moments I reacted to in the battle were from Fork's side. Anyone else think Fork vs. Dirtbag could be a legit matchup? They're both very style-oriented performers rather than their battles revolving exclusively around bars...maybe a couple more battles for fork, but further down the road?
Both of these guys are awkward to watch. Fork Farm with his ridiculous aggression and sub-par writing skills vs. the biggest wannabe to come across KOTD- SMP. I can't believe anything that guy says. He is a knock off Moodswangz (and that guy wasn't that good either).
