Putting the secondary language aside (as all people should when judging), i would've voted for Nils. I do agree Rone had better written verses, but the win for me was built on the strength of Nils m Skils calculated unpredictability. His scattered and impromptu content was enough to fend off some abuse, even managing to bait Rone into a flip game.

had to put that idiot in his place. first of all, FUCK ROUND BY ROUND SCORING SYSTEMS! it's easier to break it down but deciding a winner is ALL about overall performance. And i think rone edgeeeeeed it. BARELY. rone's 2nd verse was one of the BEST i've ever heard, and nil just about tied it. 3rd i think was slightly rone, 1st i think was a tie. With that said overall i think RONE EDGED IT. barely. This battle was so good it rivals bender vs illmac in my opinion in terms of replay value.

I think every judge said they were amazed that its his second language, but that wasn't the basis for their decision. I believe the influencing factor was the strength and volume of rebuttles and impromptu insertions.

what. are you questioning why i said fuck a round by round scoring system then broke it down by rounds? you need to work on your reading comprehension. pretty sure the next sentence i said it's easier to break it down by rounds (mainly for reference points) but the winner should be decided by overall winner. if you were an mma fan it'd be easier to explain. MMA has had tons of problems with a 10-9 scoring system.
