Reintroducing my question regarding the KOTD title:

i)Does GroundZero share into the KOTD title? or,
ii)GroundZero have its OWN title? or,
iii) Not certain as yet

it would be good if categorizing the MC's would be not based on their record but the quality of bars and performances they bring to the table. you could be 7-0 but you win cause your opponents always finish weak or choke at the same time your bars arent that good aswell

Ground Zero is its own league. Your Ground Zero record does not carry over into KOTD, and vice versa.

still thinking this through. So a GZ'er goes 5-2 in GroundZero, gets an opportunity in KOTD, but recognized at 0-0? That's the international battler experience when entering KOTD, but GZ'ers under the KotD umbrella seems.... je ne sais pas.

I don't have all the details, so i'll see how it plays out. I'll come back to this later when i've given it more consideration.

I'll give you two examples of how this has already worked.

Genocide went 0-2 in GZ against Killa Milla and Stunts. He then debuted in KOTD and went 3-0 with wins over Notez, Huey Jazz, and Forkfarm.

Casper Tha Deadly Ghost went 2-0 in GZ with a smash on J-Rez and a win over Fatta. He then debuted in KOTD and went 0-3 with losses to Luciano Crakk, 100 Bulletz, and Yung Casper.

When they say that "Ground Zero will expand", expect to see a lot of former KOTD battlers making their "debut" in GZ. I tell you right now that I am one of those.

This system is only fair, since a win over GZ competition is not the same as a win against top tier KOTD competition.

Having thought it over, I'm in favor of a unified record. I agree at the moment a GZ win is not comparable to a elite KOTD opponent, but i'm still riding that a win is a win, especially when occurring under the same KOTD umbrella.

Would it be fair to say that the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks defeating a team not making the playoffs should have a different record to represent the differing degrees of competition?

There's certainly something i can't grasp nor accept at the moment, while remaining completely open to the fact that my thinking may be wrong.
