Yo. I was wondering. How is this going to work?

As a Judge (Judging live), you don't have the influence of forums and popular opinion and that's where the pressure comes in. At the end of the third round you're standing there looking at two cards like you got your dick and your gut in your hands and you gotta decide between the two.

My point is...Is the battle going to be made publicly first and then people can submit their decisions?

Cause I think that's gonna result in alot of watered down decisions. Some people are going to end up going with the popular consensus.

And another thing...if somebody submits a video that goes against the grain, How do we treat that? An automatic loss? Judging is subjective so are we awarding people who can Explain the why's to their decision or those who make the "Right" decisions.



Just a few things I was thinking about. The former point, I dont think there is a solution for. With that said, I'm gonna make a video for this, Ahahaha. I dont expect to win this contest but I'd like to do it for the experience points. Its a pretty good opportunity.

Here's the thing... technically there are no "wrong" decisions because this shit is subjective to the viewer. I dont wanna get into detail of what were looking for as i dont want to give anyone an advantage by giving them a template to work with. I just want honest submissions from people. it's up to them who they wanna vote for and why. I'm really looking forward to seeing what gets submitted.

I was planning on dressing up like darth vader and reviewing the battles with some chroma keyed green screen effects and doing my best vader impression. Sadly im going to be in school so i doubt i'll have time to go all out if anyone wants to steal the idea feel free.

i love the idea of the judge contest, i realy dont even care about the prizes or anything just to kinda test myself.... watching dbd and mad child live i had said the exact same thing henry bowers did in his break down and reasoning .... even if i dont make the first 10.... curious to see how the first 10 make it, what sets those 10 atop of all the arm chair judges out there.... for the most part i usualy agrea with the judging at events
