    KOTD PRESENTS: GRAND PRIX SEMI FINALS - ARCANE VS 100 BULLETZ




    As one of King of the Dots most promising up and comers, 100 Bulletz has earned his spot in the semi-finals of the 2012 Grand Prix. Taking part of the bracket by storm, Bulletz showed improvement in every battle, displaying his raw talent and ability. Despite being considered some of KOTDs best, Charron and Kid Twist proved vulnerable to Bulletz’ vicious flow and intimidating performance. On his way to the top, Bulletz has used his unique style and impressive lyrical capabilities to ensure that he will maintain a spot amongst the most talented King of the Dot has to offer. Now, in the most important battle of his career thus far, Bulletz takes on the current champion of the 1 vs 1 Grand Prix, promising his best showing yet.
    Used to the pressure of the Grand Prix competition, Arcane has yet again fought his way to the semi finals. After winning the last 1 vs 1 Grand Prix, Arcane showed that he could improve and grow as an emcee despite losing his title along the way. Since then, the former KOTD champ has faced PH, Skelly, and Luciano Crakk, as well as participated in the 2 vs 2 Grand Prix. With his versatile performance and quick wit, Arcane has shown that no matter what happens, he is here to stay. Making his second semi-final Grand Prix appearance, Arcane is back to show that he is able to handle veterans and up and comers alike, and will certainly have his hands full with 100 Bulletz.

      Hard to jduge, Bulletz got the first because of the pause on Arcane. 2nd went to Cane. 3rd I gave to Arcane as well, but I just felt Bulletz was tasteless in the third so I felt biased against him. Good bars on each side though, best battle of the GP by far.

      yah it was neck and neck for me up the third i thought bulletz was gona take it but his third was meh tried for some shock shit but didnt come off to good.

      dope shiiit arcan is gona win the grandprrix chedda is gona be an easy win for a seasoned vet like arcane.

      arcane vs caustic would been a classssic hahahah

      100% agreed, but i don't give cane the loss of round 1 because of the choke. i think he recovered fairly swiftly and quickly, i just felt 100 bullets had a better 1 round. This could have been a way better battle had the crowd not muffle it. Great battle overall.

      Round 1-bulletz Round 2- arcane Round 3- arcane I felt like punching bulletz face in for his whole 3rd round. The most disrespectful shit I ever heard not only that it wasn't even that good.

      Word, I think I would have felt better about that third if it was creative, but he kind of just brought it all up for the fuck of it. And thinking that Loe Pesci molested his sister and mentioning it in a battle is not the same as referencing someone's dead sister. One thing is an action YOU performed if true, the other is just a tragic event. And him trying to get Cane to say nigga was stupid since Arcane never said anything racist towards blacks. At all. In any battle.

      haha jesus...people were calling this the battle of the year? i don't know about that. first two rounds were pretty dope...i had bulletz the first, cane the 2nd...then cane took the 3rd which was ehhhhh for both of em but bulletz was shooting straight blanks and you could tell bulletz thought it was going to bring the ruckus so the whole delivery was awkward.


      chedda is taking this tourny...cane's aight...but...he ain't no...CH CH CHEDDAAAA...

      My opinion:

      Round 1: 100 Bulletz (Because of Arcane's pause)
      Round 2: Arcane (Because of 100 Bulletz' stumble)
      Round 3: Arcane

      That final round was pretty solid from both. I wasn't a big fan of the disrespect shown by 100 Bulletz just for the fact that a lot of it wasn't creative. It felt like half of that round he was to focused on throwing low jabs rather than focusing on wordplay. Also didn't like the fact that he continuously pulled the race card. It's one of the least creative things you can do especially the way he did it. Telling him to say the N word and then acting accomplished because he didn't say it is stupid.
      Overall the battle was good though. Chedda is really gonna have to step it up if he plans on competing with Arcane.

      Log off the internet, then. This is a battle. You enter into being a fan of it already accepting people will go far with their lines. Whether or not you'd say that shit doesn't make it wrong.

      Bulletz in the first and third for me. People missed the whole point of his third. It wasn't to throw cheap shots, at all. It was clearly to trap Arcane in the position of, "What? You can't complain now. You say personal shit, deal with it." It also showed to be creative with those angles if you're going to use them.

      Bulletz was way more direct, too.

      Also, for a comic series to run up to, or beyond, 100 issues is a huge deal. There's no such thing as ONLY running for 100 issues.

      still the pole says arcane won... i feel you on bulletz 3 round though i also felt that was his point, we all just know bulletz capabilities and thi stime it was sub par.

      First things first, chedda would have won. and to answer your question, he couldn't make it across the border for the 2nd time. so chedda moves on to the finals.

      They explained while they told you Chedda was moving on... Caustic is disqualified

      @Mast I get what he was doing, and I liked the suspense of waiting through Canes third to see how far Bulletz would take it. But then it just didnt hit... Felt like he acted like he was about to go way over the line, and then really didn't. Did some shity Hittin Trees bar and later mixed in like 2 weak jabs about it... Just didn't deliver what he made us feel he was about to do to Cane.

      I also feel like 100Bulletz made a Hyprocrite outa himself by being wrong. The problem everyone had with Canes "Tru story" shit was he was often WRONG, he believed some rumor or possibly just made the shit up. If all of Arcanes past "Tru Stories" had been real and held weight, we would all have felt VERY differently about those battles. 100Bulletz shoulda really factchecked his personals b4 he called him out for basicly NOT factchecking his personals imo.

      Also think 100bulletz took round one even without Canes stumble.

      People with casual comic knowledge, like Arcane and the crowd, don't know the difference between independent comics and Marvel/DC stuff. 100 issues to them seems like a small amount.

      Just because we don't ike his third doesn't mean we missed the point of it.

      i thought the 2nd was very close... and after canes 3rd i though bulletz was going to win but his 3rd was kinda flat ... the dead sister lines didn't bother me at all they just where not that good .... if u don't like that shit don't watch battle rap

      100 Bulletz was robbed... Way better bars and schemes. They both tripped up, so that doesn't matter. If you watch, Arcane just gets mad and offended the whole battle. That's what happens when words hurt you. That's the point of a battle. Lyricism, delivery, and a/effect. 100 Bulletz shoulda won, but good battle overall. They just need a better judging system.

      it came to the third round, round one and two were neck and neck and 100bulletz third round was his downfall has nothing to do with what he spit cause its a battle, delivery was shiiiiiit. it was boring for something that could have been hard dont matter if it was true or not cause who knows how many of these "true storys" battle rappers spit. arcane came correct always legit he might be one of the most consistent rappers in k.o.t.d would be d.o.p.e to see him in other leagues.

      it's hard for me to believe i'm the only person that finds 100 bulletz corny. arcane won clearly.

      these battle rap fans remind me a lot of the various american idol judges. they focus all their attention in on technicality and not enough on character, charisma, and, for lack of a better term, that "it" factor. 100 just isn't champ material. i don't care how clever his pen game is, dude is oozing cheese.
