    KOTD Presents: FlatLine - Jack Shitt vs Miracle

    Halifax and Saint Catharines' finest square off in this next release from KOTD's Flatline event, featuring two of the most seasoned veterans in Canada's battle scene. Reppin' the East Coast is Miracle, once the most feared battler in Nova Scotia's The Elements League, and the only MC to take a victory off of Pat Stay in that arena. His opponent, Jack Shitt, burst onto the scene with a series of impressive performances in JumpOff's World Rap Championships in 2007, and has been grinding in KOTD ever since, including his most notable victory over Canadian legend Kid Twist. Both these spitters have a comic flair combined with pristine rhythm and flow mechanics to brandish against each other. Who will come out on top, and who will have to take the long trip home carrying the weight of a loss on their shoulders?

      Jack Shitt 3-0. The 2nd was close but Jack just had that flow through all 3 rounds that was just great. Reminded me of the jack in the Hollohan battle.

      I say Dose next for Jack. ForkFarm or SMP(in Ottawa) for Miracle.

      Well just for the fact that Dose hasn't battled lately and Jack just had his first solo in over a year, it would be a good match-up for the title hunt. Plus if Dose were to win, thats a big name on his wins list.

      King of the Dot's title race makes as much sense as a solar powered flashlight right now, but it's nice to see there are lots of people up for it.

      IMO i think Dose deserves a better battle than Jack Shitt Dose is on a tear and he's still undefeated!

      some1 needs to tell Gully I think the beer cancels out the Tea. lmao jks as hell though.

      Ever since I saw a battle or two of Miracle I thought the man had some talent. he has never quite lived up to that potential I've seen, but his writing, like Lush said, is pretty good.

      Theres some kiddy/played topics he could stay away from but he is pretty on point. The choke definitely cost him big time. It was clear the crowd was on Jacks side, but Toronto is pretty good for being fair to both sides.

      Jack kept his momentum better, and only had 1 minor slip up, wheras Miracle had a minor slip up and choke.

      Well, yes, there's that.

      My point is that the people who were logically in line for the title got shafted. If Rich is a contender, Dose is. It should've been Rich or Dose Vs P.H., with the winner facing Sketch. I'd say Dose Vs P.H.

      The reason why is because Rich has battled Sketch, lost and just recently won $1,500 in the 2-on-2 Grand Prix. The title won't be defended again for a while. From the time Sketch won it, to his first defense, it will be a good amount of months. So, even if Rich wins, Dose or P.H. (Who almost definitely deserve shots) won't get their shot until mid 2012?

      Although, you could argue that if Shocks beats P.H., then it should DEFINITELY be Shocks Vs Dose for a title shot.

      thet shouldve done a 4 man mimi grand prix.....then we couldnt bitch/ PH vs Aftersock against a winner of porich and dose wouldve been great to see.

      Back to the point, this was a great battle. I thought Miracle relied a bit too much on the whole "I'm like, he's like" simile crutches, but at least he did it well. Shame about the choke, but it happens. Jack was on some monster shit, I'm glad at least one person made a reference to the event being on Guy Fawkes day...shame that seemed to be going over heads. His wordplay and schemes were dope and he gets massive nerd points for rocking the Valve shirt and dropping the Half-Life bar.

      I agree with that, it would be a good place for Dose to completely prove himself. And it's a good battle for Jack to take on someone like this, maybe a title shot next? I'm jumping ahead here, but fuck it.

      Great batle, I felt Jack had every round. Content, flow, delivery, etc. were better. Miracle def did his thing though, I bet he goes into beast mode in his next battle.

      alot Miracles bars were better than I thought they'd be. The choke hurt. And some weak punches. Jack Shitt def took it...just way more consistent and creative. Jack Shitt's been entertaining since Day 1 of KOTD (even since WRC's)...he's never been off my radar of top tiers in KOTD. I'd LOVE to see Jack Shitt vs Cheeda Cheese. I'm giving up on that whole title watch...seems like another joke title so far...KOTD will get it down but its gunna take a lil time for them to get a rhythm of putting down title matches that are actually top tier vs top tier.

      After saying it about 20 times, RICH GOT THE SHOT BECAUSE HIM AND DIAZ WON THE GP. IF REAL DEAL AND FRESCO WON, RD PROBABLY WOULD HAVE GOT IT. KOTD had in mind that the winner of the GP would get the shot since none of the top guys stepped up.
