I thought bender had it easy on paper, but I'll admit I saw some flaws in his performance against Arcane (that battle was actually very close to me).
Bender took round 1, but Sketch took a big amount of momentum with that scheme at the end of the first round where he just names like six different multis he could of used, then still finished the round on that scheme, I thought that was sick, knew it was gunna be a good one after that.
Bender had a consistent second round as well, but Sketch's second verse was a lot cleaner then his first and he was getting the crowd heavily on his side. It seemed like Benders boys played against him, as it was more them hyping him then the crowd, sometimes the crowd doesn't respond well to that.
Anyways it was obvious that Sketch had gotten to Bender in the third or something, as he forgot his verse, and fumbled hard twice after that (Sketch fumbled twice, I would say in round 1 it was worse, round 2 he came back strong from, I felt it made him kinda better), and you could see in Benders eyes it was a rough time. Sketch even kinda predicted it when late in round 2 he said BENDER in his last battle starts loosing his breath in round 2.
Sick battle, KOTD is like the LHW division in the UFC, exciting title fights and the Belt is always moving.
Who the hell is next in line though? Not really much Canadian battlers I can think of battling and winning consistently? Maybe Charron, he seems to be elevating a lot.
man i loved this battle, honestly everyones bitching about who won. i dont even care who did. 2 of my favourite battlers went at it and killed it . all that matters to me.
Honestly there is no loser in this battle, they both killed shit dope lyrics punchlines flow and delivery. There were no flaws except a few slipups in my opinion
