Straight bars, no bullshit. The two MCs from World Domination 2's next release are standarded bearer's of this mantra. Played up punches with no substance need not apply here. These two are rapper's in the purest sense. Atlanta's Ness Lee has been a force in the world of battling for years, first on recorded battle tracks and now in the live arena. His performance quality is rarely matched as his pen is known for carving out metaphors and structures other writers could only dream of. Montreal's Loe Pesci counters this style with a complex, structure heavy approach of his own, never taking the easy route on his way to creating meaningful imagery and razor sharp bars. Both of these two are regarded as the finest at their craft and in their style. Which will come out on top in this highly anticipated showdown?

I thought the battle was pretty boring. I'll have to watch it again, but it seemed like neither of em really gave a shit.

Loe's second and third were amazing. Lee's Sorry Player scheme was ridiculous too. Mad replay value, props to both of these dudes.

Pesci, as expected, had some pretty memorable bars.

The reason I gave it to Ness Lee was because he had memorable bars, plus consistency. Pesci is really milking his rep for choking and that doesn't work for me. I don't necessarily believe he meant it. If he did, he's still being corny. People want to hear shit. We get it, you choked and you won't treat battling like a job until it pays enough. At least have enough respect to come with full rounds, though.

Pesci claims he's had a lot to deal with, hence the lack of focus, and I wish him well on whatever's going down. With that said, he should have postponed or something.

I gave it to Ness Lee 2-1. Those Michael Jordan and corpse tailor bars were burial ground material.

1st-ness lee 2nd-loe pesci 3rd-ness lee....i gave the 2nd to loe just assuming the choke was planned...but ness lee was way more consistant and had more dope lines, pesci had some good shit but wasnt consistant enouph to take 2 rounds while ness was beasting the whole battle

Ness took that pretty definitively in my opinion, a lot more consistent. And that Jordan scheme was too dope, one of the more memorable bars from WD2 so far. Great battle though, Loe did his thing too forsure.

ness is just beastin every battle i seeem in! i never get all the lines cuz theyre just so very integrate but i love it! such a performance kills the fuck out of loes planned-choke stunts im sorry. like loe says he seems to lack the will to write fresh shit. ness took it more or less in 3

I'm amazed people don't realize the choke was planned, but I concede that even with that knowledge, Pesci only managed to take the first round (though he had great bars in each). I get that he's dissatisfied with the current battle circuit, but if I wanted to hear editorial rants about league policy, there are forums for that...devoting most of two rounds to that topic is classic Pesci, but it pretty much lost him the battle IMHO. Plus Ness had some Yosemite Ham shit of his own in this battle. IT's normally corny when someone bites the Sorry Player scheme, but his was exceedingly well-crafted and to the best of my knowledge avoided any previous iterations of the scheme. The Jordan line was killer as well. So yeah, Ness takes it.

Give me undeniable proof that it was planned and I'll agree.

the Michael Jordan line by ness lee alone gives this battle so much replay value! great battle!

i felt the bars, the writing... was out of this world, very intricate and well thought out.

with that said, i didn't actually find the battle entertaining. it was more like two awesome rappers on a mixtape together with no beats :/
